States Sue Over Trump Administration's AmeriCorps Cuts

A coalition of states, led by California, has initiated legal action against the Trump administration in response to substantial cuts made to the AmeriCorps program. The lawsuit, filed in federal court, claims that the administration's decision to drastically reduce AmeriCorps funding is unlawful and detrimental to the public interest.

AmeriCorps is a federal agency that engages Americans in intensive service to address critical needs in communities across the country.
