Fort Drum, NY - The U.S. Army confirmed Monday the discovery of three deceased soldiers who had been reported missing following a training exercise at Fort Drum. The soldiers were found inside their vehicle. A search and rescue operation is underway to locate the fourth missing soldier.
The soldiers were participating in a routine training mission when they failed to return as scheduled. Military police immediately launched a search effort, which included air and ground teams. The cause of death is currently under investigation, and the names of the deceased are being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
